  • Nick Allica - President MJFC

    Nick Allica

    PRESIDENT

    Nick is taking on the Presidency role for the 2024 season, supporting Nathan’s plan to travel. He is excited to support the club, growing both the boys and girls teams.

    He has been involved as a coach with the girls teams at the club over a number of years and his daughters Daisy, Jess & Frankie all play at the club.

    Nick is a Fremantle supporter, although hopes Murrumbeena will be far more successful. He also enjoys being involved within the community and spending time with family.

  • Nathan Byrne - Vice President MJFC

    VICE PRESIDENT & REGISTRAR

    Nathan, Cathy, Jack, Henry and Teddy joined the MJFC in 2021 when the twin tornadoes started in Under 8's.

    After 1 year as President in 2023, Nathan has passed the baton to Nick and is super excited to be part of another fun year at Beena Arena.

    Like all good Geelong folk, Nathan is a Cats supporter and when not involved in junior footy, the Byrne crew like to escape in their caravan for both on and off-grid adventures.

  • Gillian Fitzpatrick - Secretary MJFC

    Gillian has been a member of the MJFC since 2017 when her children started Auskick.

    Gillian enjoys being part of this engaging community and is looking forward to the season ahead, cheering on the teams down at Beena Arena.

  • Chloe Skelton - Head of Girls Footy

    HEAD OF GIRLS FOOTY

    Chloe has been involved with Murrumbeena JFC since 2017 when her son Rory played his first season. Chloe was the team trainer up until 2022 when she took on the girls coaching role for her daughter Billie's team.

    In 2017, Chloe played for the Murrumbeena Footy Club's women's 2017 premiership side and loves being involved in local footy in every way, shape and form.

    When not at Beena, Chloe is supporting the mighty Richmond Tigers, and is looking forward to a big season of footy with both clubs!

  • Jim Kato - MJFC Football Coaching Coordinator

    Jim has been actively engaged with the MJFC for the last 5 years, chasing his two boys from Auskick through to Under 12’s (and counting).

    Passionate about our coaching philosophy which is focused on having fun, equal game time and inclusiveness, Jim is looking forward to supporting some of the best parent coaches in the league.

    As well as being a Tiger’s man, Jim loves his international sports, an avid supporter of Arsenal, Miami Heat & the Dolphins. He enjoys nothing more than chasing a little white ball around 18 holes and the ice cold beverage that awaits at the 19th!

  • Peter Milus - Treasurer MJFC

    Peter Milus joined the MJFC committee as Treasurer of the club in 2020 and has been part of the MJFC community since his oldest son Oliver started Auskick in 2016.

    His youngest son Maxwell is also now a proud player for the club and while the household is divided between the Saints and the Hawks, everyone equally shares the passion for footy and MJFC! Outside footy,

    Peter is actively involved in junior basketball with both of his sons (again divided between 2 clubs to make things interesting!) and with any other spare-free time left over, actively chasing beach and snow activities across the year.

    Matt is new to the club with his eldest daughter Sophie joining the Lionesses midway through 2023.

  • Scott Baker-Smith - MJFC Team Manager Coordinator

    TEAM MANAGER COORDINATOR

    Scott has been involved in local footy for some years, starting when his kids joined Auskick.

    He then became involved when his oldest son joined the U/8's for Murrumbeena and now joining the committee of MJFC in season '23.

    When not assisting where he can in local footy, Scott has undertaken Team Manager of his son's U/11 cricket team, whilst also assisting with local cricket Blaster programmes.

    Scott is now considered a long-suffering Bombers supporter, just hoping that his children get to see Essendon return to their once-former glory.

  • Lee Brown - MJFC Operations Manager

    Lee has been involved with the Benna community since his son Jack started playing U8s in 2021.

    The community feel of MJFC instantly reminded Lee of his small country town football club he grew up with. He is excited his family will get to experience this sense of community with MJFC.

    Living across the road from the oval, Lee is looking forward to managing the fantastic new facilities.

  • Kevin Holden - MJFC Incident, Compliance & Child Safety Officer

    Kevin Holden first got involved in the MJFC back in 2018 as a coach via Auskick and this has continued into 2022.

    His partner Chelsea, super mum to our 3 boys Raff, Lenny and Myles all love their sport including footy, as well as the Murrumbeena community and the friends we have made. Both Raff and Lenny will be playing for the MJFC in 2023.

    This is my first year on the committee – dipping my toe in! In my spare time I love going surfing, snowboarding or hiking. Feel free to say hello over a beer or soft drink.

  • Paul D’Aulerio - MJFC Trainer Coordinator

    Paul has been a member of the Beena community since 2014 from when his son Kadyn started Auskick.

    Over the years Paul has been involved in the MJFC as an assistant coach and more recently as the clubs trainer coordinator.

    Paul is a sports tragic and his three club loves of Carlton, Jazz and Renegades are all going through a rough patch but he is hopeful there are better days ahead.

    He's looking forward to seeing some new and old faces and families down at the club at their schmick new stadium.

  • Sally Brady - MJFC Events & Socials Manager

    EVENTS & SOCIALS MANAGER

    Sally and her husband Jolen, joined Beena Junior Football club in 2018 when their eldest son Tadhg joined in under 8s.

    Now all four children play for the maroon and gold with Tadhg in U12s, Maeve Under 12 Girls, Murphy Under 10s and Farran Under 8s.

    Sally grew up in country Victoria on a dairy farm and played all her junior and senior netball with the Dalyston Football Netball Club therefore always has loved community clubs and canteen food.

    Running events is second nature working as a marketing manager for over 20 years in the sports and health fields, hence she will be Events and Social Coordinator in 2023 along with the normal roles of team manager, umpire escort, cutter of oranges and taxi driver to 4 different games on any given Sunday.

  • Campbell Thomas - MJFC Team Kits Manager

    Campbell (Cam) has a passion for seeing the club thrive as a place where our community can connect through footy.

    Cam has previously volunteered as Auskick coach, surviving all that the kinder kids can muster. He is now looking forward to his son's, Myles and Spencer playing in U10s and U16's this year.

    Known for his prowess with tongs in hand, Cam is also often seen helping out with a sausage sizzle at club events.

  • Catherine Byrne - MJFC Merchandising Manager

    Cathy first got involved with the MJFC in 2021 when her twins started playing in the U8s. As a mum of three active boys, she has accepted that all her weekends will be dedicated entirely to kids’ sports and what better way to experience that than as part of the fabulous Beena community.

    Cathy’s role as Merchandising Manager brings her love of retail together with her love of details and organisation. Expert multi-tasker and self-confessed neat freak, she is never more in her element than making to-do lists and getting things done.

    Partial to a vodka soda, coffee catch-ups and quality time with family and friends, you will find Cathy loudly cheering on from the sidelines at Beena arena, in the merch shed (Dymo in hand) or walking the family dog Lucy around our local parks.
